The ClausLab has the pleasure to announce that three new members are joining our team. Marianne Trichard and Ianis Charrouf, from the department of Food Bioscience from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie, Biologie et Physique, Bordeaux, France and Salim Makni from University Paul Sabatier Toulouse 3, where he just finished a Master in Structural and Functional Biochemistry.
Marianne joined an exciting project looking at ancient DNA, investigating the oral microbiome of human remains from the Middle Age and Ianis became a member of the Type 2 Diabetes team, where he is studying the effects of the microbial environment on the pathophysiology of this disease. Last but not least, Salim is studying, using NMR metabolomics, the fingerprints of dairy products as part of a collaboration between Food Biosciences and Agriculture.
Wellcome fellows! We are looking forward to hearing more about your studies.
